How Our Software Licenses Work

Before you buy, it helps to know exactly what you receive. Here is how the licenses we sell work.

One-time (lifetime) licenses

Windows, Office 2024/2021/2019, Project, Visio and Windows Server are sold as one-time purchase licenses: you pay once and the software stays activated on the licensed device. There is no monthly fee. “Lifetime” means the license does not expire; the publisher may still end security updates for older versions, which we always state on the product page.

Subscriptions

Autodesk software, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365 and antivirus products are subscriptions for a fixed period (usually one year). The duration is shown on every product page, in the license details.

What you receive

• Product key — a 25-character code you enter in the software (Windows, Office, Server).
• Account or subscription activation — the license is applied to your own account (Adobe, Microsoft 365, some Autodesk products).
• Activation code — for antivirus and utility software.

Each delivery email includes the download link to the publisher’s official installer and a step-by-step activation guide.

Number of devices

Unless the product says otherwise (for example “3 PCs” or “5 devices”), one license activates one device or one user.

An invoice from OBH SOFTWARES LTD is available for every order. Reply to your delivery email with your company details.

Help with activation

If activation fails, reply to your delivery email with a screenshot. We help until the software is activated, and if a license is faulty we replace it or refund you — see our refund policy.
